Three cinema seats finished in Woodchip and Magnolia Lush velvet teal/coral velvet with pewter painted cast iron fittings and mounted onto a wooden board painted in a colour tbc.
We estimate they will be ready for delivery to you by the end of February but we'll keep in touch with updates and to arrange a suitable date.
The seats pictured are of a previously completed commission, your seats may vary slightly from those pictured.
Before delivering your refurbished cinema seats we will:
- strip, repair and replace the old upholstery and padding
- repair, strip and refinish wooden backs, arms and seat bases
- shotblast, prime and paint the cast iron legs and brackets in pewter
- mount the seats to a stained/painted wooden board
Materials
Velvet: We love to use soft velvets on our cinema seats as we feel it suits their style and reflects their past. The velvet you have chosen is stunning and will create a real statement piece of furniture for you.
Wood: The wooden top rail, shaped arm rests, curved seat backs and seat bases are all stripped back and refinished with hardwax oil. There will be marks in the wood due to their age, but this adds to their unique character.
Metal: Cast iron legs and fittings will be cleaned and repainted, but due to their age there will be dents, chips and marks, or character as we like to call it.
Fillings: The chairs have deep sprung seats and natural fillings, which we repair and replace as needed.
Set of 3 vintage cinema seats
All the furniture pieces we work with have had a life before we get our hands on them. They will never look brand new or have a factory-perfect finish. There will be imperfections and ageing and everything is done by hand, but that's what makes each one unique and special. We always choose our pieces carefully so they will last for many years to come.
